Thank you all so much! I've been feeling a little down the last few hours... I don't know what I expected for my bday, but I'm sort of disappointed. Or maybe it's just that in previous years I've taken the afternoon off and went shopping with bday money which I didn't do this year (or get for that matter.)

Oh well. It really is just a day on the calendar.

Wow. You're handling that very well. When I hit 40, I'm going to weep bitter tears. That and I'm going to throw a party that lasts for 40 hours. I've already decided.
