Anyone have a recommendation for an application that will edit .pdf documents? I know Snowflake just asked a similar question but that was to 'print to pdf'.

I've been receiving applications that are in .pdf form and I'd really like to be able to type out most of the info.

Thanks!

Well, I was going to say, a magician, is a nice alternative, though clearly I misunderstood the subject line.

Damn it - this also makes me realize that I dropped the ball on finding something for SF.

SF, were you able to work it out.

I'll mention it around the office, BTD.

BtD, I downloaded a 30 day trial version of Acrobat. Everything works, it is a full version and will expire since I won't pay for it. There is some non-Adobe PDF creation/editing software out there, but I turned up little in the way of freeware. It was all way less expensive than Acrobat.

BE, no worries at all! :-)

Snowflake, I found this pdftoword (http://www.pdftoword.com/) which you upload and they email you the converted version. It messes up formatting a bit and I haven't tried to reprint to .pdf but I can type in it.

About a year or two ago I went through this. Never did find anything useful. I ended up making it work by opening it in photoshop (which I already had) and adding things in but it was time consuming and crappy looking. Not a good choice.
