Has anyone been camping up in Idyllwild?
We drove up for a little day trip and 4 wheelin fun and noted that they have a few small campgrounds and yellow post camp sites.
I'm curious if any of you have been camping up there, where you stayed, what you liked or didn't. Most of the areas don't open until April and then it looks like they may get busy. I think we prefer the smaller or yellow post campsites for that reason. However, if we bring up both vehicles, my Cherokee doesn't have 4 wheel drive so we can't go too far off the beaten path.
It's close enough to us we can do a quick overnight getaway or maybe take off early on Friday and go for the weekend.
