I came across these photographs quite serendipitously a few months ago but it has taken me until to-day before I finally was able to put a name to the face. I really love her style. These particular photos have been on my screen-saver and I always smile when they turn up. I was beginning to think they were just a few random photos that had made their way to the internet and would forever remain anonymous.

And then my luck turned ...

So, here she is -- Cari Vander Yacht -- an artist from Portland, Oregon.

Well, at least she found a way to take advantage of having been born without a chin.

Well, rumor is that Larry Ellison once rode her to victory.

Are we sure that's not Mary Lynn Rajskub?

Or Jennifer from Top Chef?

Chinless is the new black.

Well, snarky comments aside, I think she's lovely. I like her drawings, too. If I am in Portland during one of her shows I will certainly will make an effort to go.
