Is that what they're calling it these days?

I know it was obvious before, but now it's official.

I know, I know. And it's a good thing that he is out, don't get me wrong. He's a good guy and a humanitarian. And very sexy, of course. :)
It's sad that we live in a world where celebs have to wait until a "safe" point in their careers to come out of the closet, but that's just reality. Some people are going to chide them for not being brave enough to do it sooner.

I wait for the day when it doesn't matter, that nobody has to explicitly state their orientation. He shouldn't have to come out. He shouldn't have to say it.
But I also understand the need to be seen as your authentic self and I applaud him for taking the step.
I know it was obvious before, but now it's official.
Officially obvious?

I must have skipped that question on the census form.

I wonder if this has any affect on Barbara Walters' only regret.

Not much of a surprise, but I do feel bad for him. He's been under siege about his sexuality for years, and that is such an irrelevant factor of who he is. He's a decent entertainer, and does a lot of charity work, and yet all people care about is his orientation. Seriously lame.
