One of my absolute favorite things to do at DCA is to Catch-a-Flave. In a park that is in the process of improving in so many ways, the new Catch-a-Flave menu is an extreme slap in the face! Why even call the place Catch-a-Flave if you aren't going to offer Flaves? Chocolate and Vanilla don't count as Flaves- that's just normal soft serve! Without the option to add a Flave to your soft serve, the product served here is now no different than what you can get at restaurants or anywhere else.

When I was in the parks last weekend I stopped at Catch-a-Flave to get my little moment of DCA Zen and I was heartbroken when I found out about this terrible change. It may sound stupid for anyone to get worked up about this, but I was beside myself. I declined to order and headed directly to Guest Relations to file a complaint. I don't see how anyone can consider this a good thing- especially when the wait for service appears to be about as slow as it has always been! I've never heard people in DCA say "Let's go grab an Award Wiener and a Shmoozie!" What I do hear people say is "Hey! I wanna Catch-a-Flave!" and "Let's go Catch-a-Flave!"

RIP Catch-a-Flave. You will be forever missed.

If anyone else has been upset by this news like I have, I encourage you to file a complaint at DCA Guest Relations or online at Disneyland.com.

Yeah, this is crappy news considering it was the best soft serve at the resort.

My 16 year old daughter has taken this news particularly hard. It is (was) her favorite treat in the whole resort.

You know, now that I think about it I have never had anything from there and to the best of my recollection I don't think I've ever been with anybody else who did. That whole area of DCA was essentially just a spot that existed as somewhere I might find a MouseAdventure quest.

Sorry for you your loss and that I'll never know what I missed.

Yeah, I never really knew what they were about. I prefered the San Andreus myself.
