(aka Alternative Uses for Handmade Arts)
I'm laughing my butt off right now. One of my friends is selling some of my suncatchers at a booth over the next several weeks, and a customer bought two of them this past weekend. Here is my friend's recap of the sale:
I had two different "same" chain designs in the suncatchers. She went with the pink cloisonne center piece and clear glass beads.
Anyways, she had me change out the bottom crystals and put them on the ear wires of her $1 pair of earrings (which she had me remove the original hanging bit - giant silver metal hearts). She was SO excited that they came out so gaudily awesome (seriously, she put them in and went to look in a mirror, asking "are they gaudy? Oh, they're gaudy! I LOVE gaudy!") They hung well past her shoulders, and I can't imagine they were light - but she appeared (to us) to be kind of that person.
So, yeah... best alterna-use of my suncatchers yet. At least she's projecting rainbows where ever she goes. ;)
