With all the discussion of Lost, I didn't want it to go unnoticed that the series finale of 24 was tonight.
Now THOSE guys know how to end a series. Fan-freakin-tastic and I don't think there will be the complaints there were about the Lost finale. Of course, 24 doesn't pretend to be Lost. But the finale was quite satisfying.

Heheh, I haven't watched 24 since the first season. I hear it's been sometimes good, sometimes awful since then.
I've thought about catching up with it, but I can't seem to get worked up for it.
Glad to hear it had a satisfying finale. It's the unevenness of the rest of the series that gives me pause. (I stopped midway thru Season 2 because it was just godawful.)

Jack Bauer does exciting things. It's entertaining. And some of the women are kind of hot.

Well that was awesome, though the very end felt like the ending of the Bourne Ultimatum.
They left it wide open for the movie or for it to be picked up on another network. While I love me some Keifer I think 24: The Movie is a bad idea as well as continuing. The last few seasons have been very green (recycled plot lines).

I thought the plot line this season was exceptional and unique among the 24 plot lines. It admittedly started out slowly this season, but the last 6-8 hours were incredible.
