Is there a phone app (iPhone or Android) that let's people in a crowd chat?

For example, I'm at a Dodgers game and I want to text with other fans.
Twitter could do it, but it is not easy to figure out who else is at the game plus your tweets would go to people not at the game.

Is there an app for that?

I found a new favorite app for my Android Phone: PicPush

It automatically uploads all the photos and videos I take directly to the photo server(s) of my choice as I take them. Even over 3G Full-res photos are auto-uploaded in just a min or two. No prompts, no clicks, just snap and it's done.

I've been playing with (http://mousepad.mouseplanet.com/showthread.php?t=27063) this idea for years (http://micechat.com/forums/disneyland-resort/68474-mr-geek-goes-disneyland-day1-dca.html), I'm finally glad to have it working picture perfect with a quality camera.

Now I just need to go someplace interesting.....
