What are you looking forward to, in the near or not so near future?

Me:

Hopefully a trip to Disneyland in November

Payday tomorrow

Winter being over

Thursday night drinks with friends

Your turn...:)

Coachella, less than 2 weeks away! I've been itchin' for some good music.

The 50th, of course.

Possibly purchasing a home? Although we had the realization this weekend that if we wait just one more year, I'll have that oh-so important 2 year work history which would probably save us a lot of money in the long run. Grrrr.

DL, June 21-26 at the GCH.

Some minor remodeling - new carpet (it's 12 years old and survived three kids through toddler years), some builts in cabinets in the three year old room addition and the laundry room (redoing the kitchen is just too much bucks).

Getting my PICC line removed (just found out it will be tomorrow).

Getting my PICC line removed (just found out it will be tomorrow).

Woo-hoo!

For me:

Going to my first Padres game of the year.

Confirmation being over, the classes I coordinate being over, and the class I'm taking being over....a.k.a. SUMMER!

Going to Rome & World Youth Day in Germany.

Trip to Scandinavia this summer. So long as I get my passport in time... 10 days, 4 countries... Oh, yeah!!!!

New flooring for the kitchen. It's currently sitting in my garage.

Feeding the dogs so they will be quiet... Oy! They whine.

Getting more wardrobe calls in the theater. Ah, to specialize....

J. moving out and all her stuff being gone.

Summer.

More trips to Disney.

Getting that $135 tarot deck... likely have to wait until my birthday for this one... now, elephants, frogs, or hedgehogs??? Three decks by the same artist and self-published. Worth it, from the scans I've seen.

Cleaning my garage. Or rather, to have it clean would be a nice goal. Anyone got an empty dumpster?

Everything! :)

Coachella's raver style fun....getting drunk at my parents' house for Passover.....skipping June and going straight to the 50th.

Looking forward to summer break from my morning job, even though I'm sorta considering seeking temping in mornings, if possible, even though it won't be possible and I'll just look good for signing up with an agency. :D

Looking forward to Memorial Day, because I'm sure I'll do something fun.

I'm looking forward to the end of this stupid, stupid semester.

I'm looking forward to being able to have a relaxing time this summer.

I'm looking forward to when all this insanity in my life is over, and I can sit for more than a few moments without feeling preturbed.

I'm looking forward to seeing my friend Ted when he comes out from Michigan. He's one of those really awesome people who I haven't seen in about a million and a half years (or so it seems). He'll be staying with some college friends who live in Silver Lake, so I'm also looking forward to having a good time out there...

I'm looking forward to hearing more great music, and having good times.

Mostly, can you tell I'm looking forward to good times? Aren't we all...

:D

I'm looking forward to riding some good, and some GREAT roller coasters this summer.

Recent life has reinforced how much I just gotta enjoy the great times (and not so great times) I've been blessed with now, though.

Everwood coming back from hiatus tonight (though with some trepidation-- oh, the drama!)

We're makin' stuffed squish tomorrow. Mmm. Squish.

Early-morning venture into Disneyland on Sunday. Throughout the day, hopefully bumping into a variety of friends I haven't seen in awhile. If any of them are around. Seeing Tiki for the first time since the renovation, and having Dole Whip after a year hiatus.

Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Actually, in the long term, also Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, and Serenity.

My gym membership, which will finally be paid off in May. And they'll finally let me back inside. Kids, don't evade your member dues. It's not like a CD club; they'll find you and haunt you and make you pay your lifetime membership. But then you'll actually get to use it!

The big trip to Michigan over Memorial Day. Tom will meet my family for the first time. My parents, my sibs and ILs, and the eight nieces and nephews. And also several friends. In shifts-- I've demanded-- so that it's not too overwhelming. We're going to explore my old haunts, and he's going show off his culinary skills by cooking a meal for everyone.

What will probably be a massive meet for the anniversary. Swell! Also, the day prior, the Half-Blood Prince release.

Trip to Manhattan to meet Tom's brother in October-ish. Visiting Tom's old haunts. Traipsing around NYC.

Afternoon A's games; sitting in a sunnny section and drinking a cold beer.

4th of July in Tahoe with my sister, brother and their families.

Hawaii in August.

Having my husband out of the house for a few days so I can really clean out the closets without being interrupted.

Having the garage cleaned out...one can always dream.

Having a cleaning obsession...again, one can always dream. :D

Moving! :)

In fact, I'm only online right because I'm visiting my Grandma's house! My DSL was cut a few weeks ago. I shouldn't even be posting! I need to answer messages.

I've been so busy I've barely had a moment to breathe let alone do anything else! It's scary, overwhelming, and yet it's something that's been long overdue. I'm very excited, and that good kind of nervous! :)

Having said that, How can one girl have so much stuff? I wish I could just wriggle my nose ala Samantha Stevens and it would just magically pack itself! :)

Summer!!

A five or so month reprieve from chopping, stacking, and bringing in firewood.

Seeing Maddie learn to swim.

Buying a ton of fireworks and setting them off at the lake on July 4th.

No longer making car payments. Can cross this one off though as we received our title in the mail last week! Woo Hoo!

Fresh tomatoes, peppers, strawberries, squash, peas, beans, onions, carrots, watermelon, pumpkin, broccoli, corn, sunflowers, peanuts, lettuce, basil, rosemary, thyme, chives, mint, garlic, and oregano from our huge garden. We added asparagus and artichokes this year too. Not to mention the roses, glads, and all the other flowers blooming in our yard. The lawn is already greening up beautifully and had to be mowed last weekend.

The 6 CD Disneyland set.

The new 50th Disneyland DVD.

Tioga pass opening up so we can go to Yosemite as much as possible in our paid off convertible!

And the big one...

In August spending a day at Seaworld and dining with Shamu. Visiting the Wild Animal Park followed by...

7 days and eight nights at Disneyland!! Our first time staying at the DLH(well, 5 nights at Carousel and 3 nights at DLH. 8 nights at the DLH was CRAZY expensive). Eating every night in great restaurants as there is a dearth of them here in Dogpatch and I budgeted heavily for dining(and single malt).

Balcony seats for Fantasmic! Two character breakfasts. New parades, fireworks, Space Mountain, Buzz, ToT, a sparkling park, and Madeline being tall enough for everything but Indy and Screamin'. All made the sweeter by not being able to go last year due to financial obstacles(that sucked).

Its going to be a swell summer. I think we are enjoying the anticipation as much as we will enjoy the actual trips and such!

Getting my own office in July, in the new building currently under construction. My first office! It's been promised to me for months.

Oh, wait. I just found out today - for certain - that I won't be getting my own office. Instead I'll be getting a cubicle.

I've never worked in a cubicle. So I should say I'm not looking forward to this move as much as I was last Thursday.

So, what am I actually looking forward to?

Today, 5:00 p.m. I'm keeping eye out for the small pleasures right now, since shooting for the big stuff has led this horse to some highly polluted water, of late.

Is there something you'd like to share with the class, Kevin?

For me, it's...

Being halfway done with my teaching credential next week.

The 50th kick-off and new fireworks!

Seeing my cousin graduate from the Air Force Academy and the family road trip getting there entails.

Taking my son to the Grand Canyon (and the husband has never been either, so double bonus!)

Having a stop in Vegas as a reward for surviving the above mentioned road trip.

The end of school/work.

Possibly getting back into racing outriggers.

Fun times in The Park!
