Hey !

As some of you know i might be able to go to Southern California again in October this year .

Right now i'm looking at the Airfares and from Paris it seems to be very expensvie so i might take a flight to LA with a layover somewhere in the US from Brussels .

Brussels or London are only a few hours drive from paris and there is cheap coach to get there anyway . So Be ready to see me again in October ahaha !!!

yay ok here's for now tentative plans for Knott's Halloween Haunt. We are going twice and only twice due to funds. Once the beginning nights in Sept but in Oct on Oct 31st Halloween night since this year it is on a Sunday and i am putting in for the next day Nov 1st off from work this week :) I never work the day after Halloween.

As for Universal they still don't have ticket information up on the website yet. I'm hoping they offer a Frequent Fear pass otherwise not sure we can afford the price to go even ONCE...it's too expensive othewise.

So that's you have it. I so can't wait til you come out here. Maybe this time i can join you at Magic Mountain. :)

Nope usually when you go we can't go. So in Oct they are only open Friday, Saturday and Sundays for Fright Fest so it is a possibilty i can actually go including Fri even though i would work til 11am most Fridays....Ok i should keep one of our coke cans then for the half off discount on tickets....

oh yeah !!! Make sure to keep them all lol because here Theme Parks aren't promoting their Park Tickets on Cans . May be in the UK but not in France !!!

Right now airfares from Brussels are 586 Euros with British Airways !!!!

Or Flying NON Stop from London to LAX with Air New Zealand for 577 Euros !! I might choose one of them and i better like the Non Stop flight to LA !

San Francisco Flights are also way cheaper than LAX !

Well, if you ever decide to come to the Bay Area, Louis, I'd be happy to take you to the Walt Disney Museum. It's awesome as other LoT pals can tell you.

Hopefully I can come down for a DL visit in October. I'm in need of a trip for just fun.

I did MA for several years. And then it occured to me, it was too much work to be fun. I admire the folks who put it on, though. Wow, what a great job you all do!

I think Holloween Haunt would be a great Idea! While DLP does a decent job of it, wait untill you see how it's done in the states, Louis!

i have already seen it when i was in Orlando in 2007 and LA in 2009 .

I have actualy been to some events such as

Mickey's Not so Scary Halloween Party at the Magic Kingdom in WDW .

Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando

Howl O Scream at Busch Gardens Tampa .

The only event i have been able to attempt last year was Halloween Haunts at Knotts .

This year im focusing on going to HHN .

Ok, if you've seen Universal, you have had a taste then. Disney scales down the horror a lot.

But Knott's started the theme park Holloween event's (or so I've heard). So, some day you must give it a try!

What is HHN? I should know this....

Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights. It's awesome usually puts Knott's to shame. Last year Matt went like 10 times he went one more than i did. Well since it's a working movie studio they really know how to scare visitors. It isn't for the faint of heart. It is usually scary for me to say i'm traumatized where as Knott's is more fun for me.

What time does your plane land on the 20th? What kind of ticket media will you have? Perhaps we can plan something, and hopefully not a bad spot!

I think I know which one Coaster Matt would vote for ;)

But since I have zero knowledge of either, I will leave it to others to give input.

I prefer Discovery Kingdom myself. They have some good coasters and neat animal displays.

Oct 22 - San Francisco

Louis

Are you going to the Disney Family Museum? if not, you should!

If I had to pick between Discovery Kingdom and Great America- this time of year would tip the balance to Haunt at Great America. Overall, though- DK is a much better park, and the animal stuff (I'm especially partial to the sharks) gives it the edge for me.

I hope Louis doesn't have problems getting out of France. The strikes and demonstration are congesting the roads and causing fuel shortages. Sending good thoughts to Paris!

Cool, if he made it to London, then he should be in LA about 1pm. Then at the park at about 4pm, and I'll meet up with him about 6.

I also will be hosting a couple from South Africa at the park for the Holloween Party on Friday. Fun, fun, fun! :D

Louis made it here. We saw WOC last night. With out fastpasses, we saw it from the side. Not such a great view, but not too bad....
