 Hey all, it's Halloweentime again and the good folks who are putting on this year's Halloween at the Victorian El Mio Estate (thankfully not me after 2 outrageously intense efforts) waited till now to let me know that, oh yeah, anyone who's ever been to an El Mio Halloween is always welcome at El Mio Halloweens.

So since most everybody who posts on the LoT has been to an El Mio Halloween, I'm putting it out here that you are all welcome ... in perpetuity. It's an annual event - usually held the Saturday night before Halloween - but this year, like last, actually ON Halloween, Sunday, October 31, 2010.

And that's because some good friends of the core El Mio crowd are getting married on October 30 - a Saturday which would have been a perfect night for a Halloween Party - and I'm sure most parties around town will be held that night.

BUT - if you're still in the mood for costumes and party and crazy old Victorian Mansion on the actual date, which is still not a school day - feel free to come and enjoy.

Oh, the actual costume theme this year is Fairy Tales, Myths and Legends - but with such short notice, you're welcome to take advantage of the out that is always available at El Mio Halloween - any costume is fine. The theme is more a guideline than a rule.

Because it's a Sunday, the party's starting a little earlier than usual - at 6pm - and likely ending a little earlier with an eye towards people having to go to work the next day, and it being the tail end of a 3-Day Full-Of-Halloween Weekend.

Bringing something edible or potable to share is always appreciated. Sorry again for the short notice - hope to see some of you there. Apparently, without knowing it, you've been El Mio indoctrinated. Gabba, gabba, we accept you, we accept you, one of us. ;)

Aw! Sounds fun, but we already have an invite that evening.

We'll look forward to next year. :)

Can't make it, but must hear what the couple with the kid dresses as.

I should totally know their names by now.

Except that "Eliza" wouldn't be a child, it would be a pug or a cat. Probably a pug.

Too late, the image is planted - and the goggles do nothing!

So Steve... is there an evite we should RSVP on or at least somewhere we can locate the address for our GPS's?

Here's (http://new.evite.com/?utm_source=msnlive_mail&utm_medium=email&utm_content=text&utm_campaign=invite#view_invite:eid=02F0AAQZXGL24E EPYEO7ZZQG7KWSVQ&gid=02F0AAQZXGK5ZYK4EEO7ZZQHUKZFNM) the evite ... but don't RSVP there, because it's likely you'd be doing so as "me."
