Here's my full report of an exciting day.
What a Day!!!! We were doing our booth set up and gale force winds started. The canopy almost blew away and we had things get knocked over and break. We lost a few sugar skulls, a display hutch and some votives. We had 4 hours to set up. At 4 1/2 we were still trying to get things wind-proofed and the event had started. I never did pull out my SLR so the only photos I got were from my iPhone.
Here you can see the sugar skull cookies (we sold out), a few sugar skulls and some of my earrings in the background.

This is how I displayed my silk flowers. They were hanging at first and looked awesome, but things were flying, so I took them down.

This is a terrible picture, but you can see a bit of my jewelry hanging as well as more of the sugar skulls.

We finally borrowed some bungee cords, duct taped everything we could and eventually had some sand bags delivered. The winds died down around 4 and we were able to put up hanging lights and things go much better.
I sold a lot of stuff, which make it all worth it in the end, plus, I got some great ideas for jewelery for next year. I was so done with Day of the Dead, but now I'm excited to draw out my design ideas and look for unique supplies.
