I have been having a problem the few couple days. Some pictures on the net are not showing correctly. Below you can see an example of one that I was trying to view on Micechat. But it is not just happening there. I have seen the same problem on sites like failbook and photobucket.
I have checked for viruses. I tried to download the latest driver for my Nvidia card, but when installing my computer said it was corrupted.
Then I discovered it was also happening on my parent's computer (same house). So I don't think it is computer related. I have contacted our provider, Comcast, and they opened a incident report. I have not heard back from them yet. Any thoughts eggheads?

Strange. I use Picasa and have seen something similar to that within the program for random photos. They will consistantly look like that for weeks at at time and then, like magic, they look fine and different pics look weird.
Is it all graphics or just photos?

If you refresh the page, or close/re-open the browser do the same picture(s) do it every time?

It was all graphics. But not just graphics. I had downloaded an nvidia driver and it came up corrupted, as did a couple other things I downloaded.

Usually, but not always.
I talked to comcast yesterday and it seems they fixed it. All pictures on my parents computers are fine and the problem seems to be gone. However, my computer went down with OS problems. WHile norton has found no viruses, I am suspicious of it. I have a couple of friends coming in a couple days to help me get my computer up and running again.
