Bill and I both got new iPod Shuffles for Christmas. Bill had his plugged into his computer to charge when a Windows update required him to reboot. He came and got me because Windows wouldn't come back up.

I played around with it for awhile. Nothing. I went into the bios setup and looked around. Then I opened the boot sequence. It went like this:

Floppy (not installed)
Apple iPod
HDD

The damn thing was trying to boot from his Shuffle, which was still plugged in. I unplugged it, exited the bios, and it booted right up!

You might want to go in and change the boot order so that doesn't happen again.

Youtube told me today that I would not be able to access my account unless I linked it to my google account. Weird. So I clicked a button to do so, realized it was the wrong button, and now I can't access youtube at all. This is the page error message I'm receiving:

The page isn't redirecting properly

Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

* This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.

Anyone know what's up? I went into my setting to make sure cookies weren't disabled, so, I'm at a loss. Can't open my account, can't link to a video from the youtubery thread, can't link from a google search.

Try deleting the cookie for Youtube. Since you're using firefox, the procedure is:

Tools->Options->Privacy->"remove individual cookies". Scroll down to youtube.com and delete it.
