A fan is creating an interactive 3D recreation of Horizons from Epcot. It's in the early stages now, but looks pretty cool so far! Link ("http://horizonsresurrected.com/2011/01/16/interactive-version-an-early-look/)

This was one of my favorite rides at Epcot, so I look forward to seeing the finished product.

Your link was wonky, but maybe this one (http://horizonsresurrected.com/2011/01/16/interactive-version-an-early-look/) will work.

So far, really impressive, and a powerful thwack of nostalgia. I hope this fellow can see it all the way through. That's a pretty high level of show content and detail he's set himself to recreate.

And oh, when is Virtual Toad (http://virtual-toad.com/) going to be finished? That guy hasn't updated for a couple of years now. Really, I'd pay him to finish if I had money.

So exciting! I still have my home video I took of Horizons 14 years ago.

I think I had a flashback the other night from all the acid I enjoyed on Horizons over the years.

Le sigh. The DNA Chain.

After my 2002 DL trip where I bought "The Official Album Of Disneyland & Walt Disney World" I would play Horizons and think... "I don't remember that one?"

Oh dear gods, don't give me Maya project ideas. I already have enough things I want to do and not enough time. But, oooooooooooooh....... I do already have my 3D teacup model built.....

Virtual Toad sounds awesome, and this one looks downright amazing. And, they'll be awhile before they're finished, especially if they're solo projects. 3D rendering and interaction/animation is a very very very very very loooooooooooong process.
