I'm going out to dinner with several work folk and have been told that it's casual... very casual. We're going out for barbeque.

I have a great t-shirt... all white and just above my left hip is a somewhat sizeable, yet incredibly stylish zombie Audrie Hepburn.

Should I wear it, or could this offend potential sensibilities?

Should I be boring and safe, or cool and... err... questionable.

Wear it and piss off the Mormon.

Yeah, I put the shirt on and, though it made me smile, I decided that when I get around BBQ I get messy.

So, I have some sort of lame Lucky t-shirt on. White Zombie Audrey Hepburn T-Shirt will have to be worn at a later date/time.

Good call. Barbecue sauce is hell on whites.

Just on the question of appropriateness I'd say where the shirt. If they're so uptight that they'd have issues with it, you'd probably want to know that on something so trivial.

Wearing the image of already thin Audrey Hepburn as a skeleton + eating bbq in public? Never, never, never.

Might as well throw on a pair of hippo print bike shorts. Srsly.
