My Las Vegas Photo Op Concert Bon Jovi Review

I really don't even know where to begin or start quite literally. I still can NOT find the words to describe what a ride i've been on. I still have a HUGE grin on my face that NOTHING can wipe away EVER. I'm just blown away by everything. I can't say enough praises. This trip was so worth it and more so.

I guess I should begin at the beginning. The photo op that was what i went into the trip expecting was in groups (our group had 10 in it) which was fine by me BUT i was managed to be the leader of our group over to Jon. Now mind you i figured the photo op would be in a room (we had been told and told where to stand etc for the picture) but that was NOT the case.

We were lined up according to group numbers on our wristbands. Me being the leader. We were led into the actual arena where the pictures were taken betweeen the seats last section of the venue and the soundboard. So i started to panic a little bit knowing i would be walking RIGHT towards Jon Bon Jovi himself.

My heart started to pound, my palms started to sweat i just remembered to breathe and smile. Before i could even start to walk towards Jon HE turns to me after the group in front of me finished and flashed his famous SMILE right at me and those baby blue eyes looked right at mine. I walked towards him reaching him with an "oh my gosh" came out of my mouth and a little "squeal" he giggled at that reaction. So while everyone else gathered around in our group I managed to put my head on his shoulder for a few seconds. He had his arm around me for the picture. I put my arm around his neck resting my hand on his shoulder. :)

After the picture i gave him a hug. I had a letter for him that i wrote explaining how my brother passed away a year ago. Before i could even say a WORD he saw his name on the envelope and took the letter out of my hands. I gave him another hug and this time HE HUGGED me back with both arms around me pulling me close to him. After the hug i had just had to kiss him on the cheek and that was it.

To me that was more like a personal meet and greet rather than just a plain old photo op.

He is so amazing, tuned in just aware of his fans. I walked away and then just started to cry. I was literally shaking but all smiles.

Ok onto the show itself. I managed to get a seat right at the circle/ramp on Richie's side. Little did i know this seat would be "MAGIC". They opened with Living on A Prayer so i knew we were in for one magic set list. Jon's energy seemed to never DIE. I think he literally wore me and the audience out first. Loved the fact they mixed it up and i finally was able to hear Love for Sale for the very first time on the ramp.

I should back up here because Jon comes out on the ramp with his black guitar so i knew we were going to be getting something of his. He sung Make a Memory and towards the end of the song turned and smiled right at me. I managed to snap a picture not sure how i did that. Knowing he made eye contact with me and smiling I just had this sinking suspicion i was in for something.

Seeing how Jon prepares as the opening notes of Bed of Roses started playing was just incredible. I took it all in. He stood at the mic stand for awhile beginning of the song and then at the 4:15 mark it happened. There is a video on You Tube of MY moment. He was walking along the ramp passing me (yes i took some pictures) BUT decided to stop taking pictures because i just wanted to enjoy Jon being inches from me. So to my wildest dreams Jon smiles that famous smile at me, those baby blue eyes of his looking right at me and he sings "lay you down on a bed of roses" right at ME....i just smiled right back at him singing right back at him. There was a pause and i screamed and he just flashed that big smile right back at me. But my reaction on the video was just priceless. The girl next to me saw the whole exchange and was so happy for me. The rest of the show i was just "beaming". They played 2.5 hours long enough really. i was completely worn out but so happy.

I managed to take pictures (mainly of Jon) and some of Richie. But most of all just taking it all in at times and putting the camera down and turning it off.

Yes they are CP most definitely. :) I still can't say enough great things about my experiece OR Jon himself. He really is genuinely caring and in tuned with his fans.

Someone posted a video of I'll Be There For You from the show with Jon and Richie on the ramp and you can see me in the video since i have the travel package VIP laynard strap around my neck. :) Will have to post a link. I'm almost in front of Richie he's to my left a tiny bit.

i still am. But yes i was very happy. It all happened so fast but when he was singing to me it felt like no one else was in the venue strange to say at the time. I completely just tuned everything but Jon out. :) of course....hence my natural reaction :)

It's almost a week later and i'm still floating on air. I went to work for a period of time today and it was funny i was told how happy i was/am and smiling etc. Yup i hope this grin doesn't leave my face and my feet never touch the ground.

Hopefully will have some time tonight to work on more pictures. I am like a quarter of the way thru them all lol believe it or not.

Thank goodness i have one more show in May in Houston and then the withdrawls will set in i just know it. But for now the memories of Vegas are just keeping me so very happy.

I'm just greatful to have such a loving and supportive husband who lets me go to these things and comes home and takes care of him. He knows how happy it makes me. :) He is the best thing in my life and the best husband in the whole world.

Ty no i couldn't. I'm still on my cloud actually. I started a song request thread for Jon already for Houston since i will be at that show on May 17th lol I NEVER start a thread like that but i actually got brave and did.

I put up a Thank You thread on the fan club board but am planning on making him a card to get to him in Houston i hope. To me Thank You is just NOT enough. I can now say i actually met Jon Bon Jovi and had a group photo taken and have memories to last a lifetime.

Would i do it again? In a heartbeat. Hopefully after their long break after July if they go back on the road/no NOT IF when...i am recruiting more fans to do a travel package with me. :) I want MORE...
