I think it's kinda cool. I want to download the ap that maps your whereabouts. It would be cooler if you could map a group of people like LoT and see periodic congregations at Disneyland or other LoT occasions of social intersection.

I too think it is kind of cool.

What is not cool about it is that they didn't tell people the phone is doing that and they didn't really do anything to protect the data from any random person who might end up in contact with your phone.

That said, looking at the various comments on this it seems the data is woefully incomplete and also woefully inaccurate.

Not surprised. I could maybe accept it if they told you the phone was recording this information. And if you could turn it off. I don't want my phone to spy on me.

Wasn't it also broadcasting your habits and some personal info?

Makes me feel better that I don't own any Apple products.
