It just passed here and brought with it a new age of enlightenment and joy, animals can now talk, the more tasty a food is the less calories it has, gravity is now an option and the Nationals are having a winning season.
Try not to miss it in your timezone.
Unfortunately, I strictly observe the Hijri calendar and it is 12/15/32 today. So I guess I'm going to miss out on the party.

Yes, in one year, one day, one hour and one minute (from then). This stuff trips me out!

Exactly.
But the second one is cheating since the second one doesn't happen in much of the world.

Meh.
Real nerds partied it down on March 14,1592 at 6:53:58
Meanwhile the Jewish nerds partied it down at 6:53:58 on May 17, 2168 BCE.
Islamic nerds will have to wait until May 14, 2166. Persians until June 4, 2213. But any old French patriot nerds will have to wait quite a while, until November 24, 3383.
Indian nerds who use the Indian Civil Calendar should have partied on June 4, 1670, but since that calendar wasn't adopted until 1957 (Gregorian) none of the nerds knew they should be partying.
And if you want to be really nerdy and wait for pi in an Excel date serial number (at least to 6 digits of pi) they'll have to hope Kurzweil is right so that they can be around on May 20, 10501.

And it doesn't bode well for Morrigoon's avatar, either!

You guys are hilarious, I hadn't even connected the two until you said that!
(FWIW, I was at the doctor's office at 11:11am, NOT the tea house ;) But I'll let you keep that little visual in your head if that's what you enjoy :P)

Ok, but just don't throw stones at my house! ;)
BTW, I love your avatar, you look stunning! I've been meaning to tell you that. Where was that taken, if you don't mind me asking? I held an English tea with all of the goodies; finger sandwiches, clotted cream, cookies (aka- biscuts), and I even made fresh scones! But we didn't dress the part....

That was at my birthday 3 or 4 years ago, we went to the Tea House on Los Rios in SJC. They do a really nice tea for not too much money (compared to what some places charge!) And they're very friendly to the whole "dressing up" thing.
The hat, incidentally, is just a few yards of tulle wrapped around a cheap straw hat from Michael's and pinned on :) Amazingly works quite well.
