My HP is taking a dive. Per internet searches it seems to be a common problem/design defect with no way to fix. Well one guy soldered on new contacts or something on the mother board that seemed to work but that's a bit out of my league.
So anyone have an suggestions on a reasonably priced, wireless, print/scanner combo? Maddie ends up printing quite a bit for school so ink cost is an issue as well.

We just bought a new Epson printer/scanner at Fry's. It's the Artisan 730. They matched amazon's price of $139.99. It's fast and quiet. The wifi is nice - it's nowhere near our computers. One bonus: it's compatible with ios5, so it'll print pictures directly from our iPhones/iPads as well.

I have an HP wireless that I bought at Costco for $90. Well actually $10 because after my other printer died they gave me store credit for an under their 2 year warranty program.

Do NOT get the low end Lexmark. We hate it.

Ha! I must be in a bizarre mood.
I read "Wireless Printers" and immediately thought "Immaculate Conception?"
I'm a dork.

Coworkers HP print/scan/fax that's in the same family as mine had the same problem. I'll look at the Epson - thanks!

HP all in ones smash so much more nicely than Epsons do. They also tend to ignite with just a little less kerosene, so that's a bonus too.

I guess I can expect my HP to die soon. Damn.
