The only other thread I found was about possible scammy links in books ad I thought the good side of Kindle needed a thread so we can share the yummy stuff.
Having said that, I LOVE my new Kindle, and browsing the LoT leads me to the question.... Flippy, did you ever get your titles up in the Kindle Store yet?
...and I'm loving "The Dark Side Of Disney" :D

Not yet. That Kinect thing really threw my schedule out of whack. However, I do have a theatrical project actively in the works that I'm sure folks will find interesting. (and the Pirate Halloween thing will definitely get its official launch as well. *knock on particle board*)
Which Kindle did you get?

Well, I love the kindle app for android.
I've only purchased one book and am currently reading Stephen Fry's Moab is My Washpot (book 1 of his autobiography). I have downloaded a bunch of free public domain books that I've not read in years, old novels and such.

I've got all the Harry Potter books - I finally had to do some random illegal download since they're not available any other way. I'd be happy to pay for them the right way but they can't seem to get it together.
I have downloaded a lot of random classics. Just to have when I get bored. I've bought quite a few. Usually when I'm reading a book review, then I'll go on amazon and download.

Susan has one. I put the Kindle app on my iPad and can read all her books (she is a more voracious reader than I am). I was surprised how much erotica she has in her digital collection.

Speaking of the Kindle....
Amazon's "Send to Kindle (http://www.engadget.com/2012/01/12/amazons-send-to-kindle-lets-you-send-stuff-to-your-kindle/)" app lets you send stuff to your Kindle.
Would you like to send documents from your Kindle to your PC? Fantastic, because that's totally what you can do with Amazon's new Send to Kindle software.
Assuming that sends it to your Kindle via Whispernet (in which case the app does nothing new other than allow you to skip the step of emailing the documents to your Kindle account) keep in mind the fees based on filesize ($0.15/megabyte in U.S., $0.99/mb outside).

Flippy: I think it's just called the "New Kindle" - I don't need 3G as I usually download at home via WiFi or add files by USB if I have to.
Kevy: I was surprised at how much erotica was free in the Kindle store ! (no, I didn't download any...)
Stephen Fry?.. Mmmmmm

Isn't this what Pottermore will be about, at least partially?

Yes - supposedly. They were supposed to be up on October and are now postponed indefinitely so I just finally downloaded them. So nice not to haul around a 700 page book.

I got just a Kindle Touch. The first book I downloaded was "Dracula" which scares me too much to read when I'm home alone. But one of the reasons for getting the Kindle was to have it handy when I'm not at home. So that works.

I won't be posting from it too often - Virtual Keyboard on the New Kindle is a little clunky to use... Still, it reduced the overall size of the unit so not complaining.

Not on the free library but apparently if I make him buy the app I can, hmmm. Thanks for the idea, it made me ask him again.
I like the obscure Stephen King. I even have My Pretty Pony.

Apparently, with the latest version of the Kindle App for the iPad (and iPhone), they have removed the ability to purchase books from within the App. You can still log into Amazon (using Safari) and purchase and then you can see them in your library, available for download.
