I still love power lines. (http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v254/codexjen/Power%20Lines/)

Here's actually an easier way to get to the full size versions:

One (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v254/codexjen/Power%20Lines/DSC_2364.jpg)

Two (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v254/codexjen/Power%20Lines/DSC_2366.jpg)

Three (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v254/codexjen/Power%20Lines/DSC_2367.jpg)

Four (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v254/codexjen/Power%20Lines/DSC_2374.jpg)

Five (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v254/codexjen/Power%20Lines/DSC_2375.jpg)

Six (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v254/codexjen/Power%20Lines/DSC_2377.jpg)

Seven (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v254/codexjen/Power%20Lines/DSC_2378.jpg)

Eight (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v254/codexjen/Power%20Lines/DSC_2380.jpg)

There's a station near us. Getting shots of the station itself is tough due to high walls, but the lines that come out of it go straight into the distance, since this area is a big grid. I've been meaning to get out there for ages.

This is a great example of being an American. Why not go out and take photos of critical infrastructure? That stuff is cool.

That stuff is cool.I know you're making a joke (and a point) but I do think about this post 9/11 stuff. It's not often that I do this with GD's nice camera, since I think that makes it look more suspect. I suppose I could be questioned about it but with a baby carseat in the car and nothing else incriminating looking I think I'd be ok.

As it was, this session was probably a bit suspicious in that I parked in the tree nursery parking lot that lies directly underneath the lines, then took a call on my cell phone for about half an hour, then got out, took the shots and left. I think I did get an askance look from one of the nursery workers but that might have just been me.

Lately I've done some of this photography with my cell phone while I'm on the go with Theo in the car. I'll pull over and take a few quick shots, mostly because making time for photographic pursuits usually isn't possible. They're pretty good but not really worth posting. I think that method might be even more suspect.
