There's an exhibit of artifacts from the Titanic now through Sept 9th at the San Diego Natural History Museum. Info here (http://www.sdnhm.org/exhibitions/current-exhibitions/titanic-the-artifact-exhibition/).
I want to take Madz. Anyone else interested in making an outing of it?

We went when we were in Iowa visiting, it was very fascinating. I actually bought a small piece of coal. It was a little traumatic for the boy when his person didn't make it, he was only 6 though.

Maybe not the same exhibit, but I saw a bunch of trinkets brought up from the wreck site at a Titanic exhibit, fittingly inside the Queen Mary. The shoes, especially, were soul-chilling.
But, as big a Titantic fan as I am (the ship, not the movie) - I don't see the need to see this sort of stuff twice. Though I completely recommend it.
