SoCal Tickets (2Fer, etc)

A friend of mine was wondering how the SoCal tickets to the parks work as they are dramatically cheaper than normal tickets. Do you have to show ID to purchase the tickets or to use them for entry into the parks?

From what I know they don't always ask for id but they can and sometimes do. It's a chance.

When we've gotten them in the past we had to show ID at the ticket booth. I think one ID allowed you to buy multiple tickets though.

Reports have been they are enforcing one park one day, the other park the 2nd day so if you want to hop you may want to check other methods.

Sometimes they do and I think ID check at the gate is stated on the terms of the ticket. Check on the card at the grocery store (I've seen them on gift card aisle at Albertsons). I've been with people who have been asked for ID before. It's a crap-shoot.

You need proof of residency to purchase the tickets at the ticket booth. You can purchase up to 5. There are some block out days for the tickets and they need to be used before mid June or they expire. Two of my co-workers were asking me about the promotion and I sent them a very detailed email. I'll forward it to you tomorrow.
