Oh fine. I'm not visiting the Park until the 20th. I hope "capacity" is not reached by then, but I'm not going to hold my breath.

If anyone wants to register me as part of your guests, though, please feel free! The Saturday date is preferred, heheh.

How is this retarded?

And not a word to toss around: this is a derogatory term that many (especially those with friends and loved ones within the developmentally disabled community) work very hard to have eliminated from common usage.

Seems to me they're trying to make up for the drastic price increase by offering more special events/privileges, which I'm okay with (assuming they keep it up)

I'll bet the lines at the ticket booths are insane right now, and destined to get worse as the night wears on

Ken's running over after work, so we'll see. As of 6:30, there was no line, according to another friend.

I want the hat. I don't like WOC. Unless the hats shoot fire and produce rum as part of the PotC interaction. Then I will go see it.

I'm interested what the ears do. Not enough to stay that late at the park, probably, but I would like to see it.

I'm not sure what I think about giving us the private events. Sure, it makes the AP more "valuable" but I'm not sure by enough. It's cool, but the price increase was a lot. Enough that I probably won't renew next year. Then again, I've said that before. Unfortunately.

I think the AP perks are great, and I would love if there were more of them.

I don't think I'll be able to take advantage of this particular one. For one thing, I wouldn't doubt if it's "sold out" by the time I next get there on the 20th. For another, we're limited to the Friday - and that's PITA travel for us. Also ... I have to accept that World of Color just doesn't thrill me. I like it well enough, but I've only seen it like 3 times - because it's pleasant, but not much more than that.

Oh well. Le sigh.

General FYI - When Ken went to the ticket booths at 9pm last night, there was no wait.

Really looking forward to this! The ears are gonna be AWESOME! :)

Thanks for the offer, I appreciate it, but I'm working. I hadn't looked before but I've got work both Friday and Saturday nights.

I do hope for a report on the ears!

I wonder what the ears do when you take them back home and they report back to the mother shipI bet Disney uses them to transmit subliminal messages saying, "Tell your friends to buy these."

I'm sure that's the whole idea of the freebies. And it just might work on most people. Me? It took me all of half a second to realize the only ones I will be able to see are the ones not on my head.

Money saved. :p

I'm not going or buying the ears, but...

When we went to WDW for Walt's 100th, they sold these cool pins with LEDs that lit up or "interacted" with different special things throughout the parks. They'd "beat" in unison with the bride in the HM, they'd flash along to the tempo of a parade... I thought they were awesome.

Hopefully there will still be tickets tomorrow. Maddie's up there today with her Dad but she's under 18 and he doesn't have an AP so she can't do the reservation.

Isn't the last performance of WOC always after regular park closing?Historically, yes. But with DCA being open until 11:00 after the 15th, this will no longer be the case.

----

While looking up show times and hours, I was amused to discover that, despite DCA being closed on June 14th, the Mariachi Divas are still doing their regular shows. Now that's dedication!

I'm going to the Saturday June 30th show.
I'm allowed 3 other premium AP's.
Keith might join me, so I still have 2 extra spots.
Who else is premium and wants to go on June 30th ?

I saw the ears, as they reacted to Mad T Party in DCA. Twas awesome!

I spent an hour last night looking for the link to sign up, until I re-read the original post and found this:

Registration must occur in person at a Disneyland Resort Main Entrance Ticket Booth. And then I remembered reading that when it first came out.

I'm going to try to get over there today, and hope there is still tickets for Friday night. I can't make it on Sat. or I'd go then.
