If you're resistant to reading some random blog about the closing of an attraction in Florida, I hope this snippet encourages you to spend the time. And tissues.
Particularly as the night drew towards its climax, each cast member to a person exhibited complete dedication to creating a lasting memory for my son. These were not just people doing their jobs, or even people showing excellent customer service. No, those amazing men and women became personally invested in the event and gave their all so that one autistic young man would have the most memorable experience of his life.
Writing the last MouseAdventure involved about 8 weekend trips to Disneyland.
In that time I rode only one ride over and over. Snow White. Over and over. Alone. Feeling like the arch-pedophile of Disneyland.
I would happily be the one to torch any Snow White ride at any Disney park.

That was such a sweet read. But now I'm curious to see how or if Ben celebrated the demise of the original Scary version, too.
Oh, and I gladly hand over the Curmudgeon Crown to Alex for the forthcoming year. may he reign supreme.
I'd wear it with honor. But people today have no understanding of the true value in crowns and it would just be a hollow gesture.
