Nice!

We are actually getting trick-or-treaters. I'm glad- I had wondered. Some years we get some, some years we only get a few, some years I wonder if we'll get any. Makes it hard to gauge how much candy to buy.

But this year is a good year.

Nicely done!

We had exactly zero trick-or-treaters this evening.

We got one. Next year, when T will get more out of it, we'll probably head tot he other part of town like everyone else does.

That's great! GD- nice David Tenant Doctor! CP looking as good as ever, and T is getting so big!!

We get quite a few Trick-or-treaters every year in my area, about 150- 200. I had the lights, sound effects, and fog as usual. I try to make it just spooky enough not to scare the bejebus out of the little tikes, but make it fun enough for the pre-teens and tweens. I even get smiles from the adults.

We actually had quite a few little trick or treaters. We even had a little Mario and Luigi, so cute.

TY.

So the pumpkin was my first ever attempt at the etched/sculpted style. I went entirely freehand. This was what I was going for (in keeping with the theme). The pumpkin was selected before the subject, so I had to make some compromises due to shape, but I'm pretty pleased with the result.

You guys look great. I had zero trick or treaters. I usually get at least two or three.

Delightful costumes, all of you.
I had no idea you were a Whovian GD.

On a side note, I think paralympic athlete and amputee Josh Sundquist (http://blog.joshsundquist.com/post/34575552150) deserves a Major Award for this costume:http://cdn.wl.uproxx.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/Josh-Sundquist.jpg

Recent thing. I grew up as a casual fan, my dad and I would watch it sporadically. Mostly Tom Baker. Didn't jump on the re-boot (we were just jumping on board with Lost when Who started, so didn't have time to get into it. And continued to not have time for 7 years. But now that my job has me traveling, and we went back to Netflix streaming, I needed something other than SportsCenter or porn with which to kill time in hotel rooms. So I've plowed through about 16 episodes in the last month and I'm fully on board.

Don't give Lisa ideas!

After a very slow start (where I was giving handfuls of candy) I got hit with a bunch of kids. Lights were off before 7:15 since I was out of candy.

Hard part was getting it to sit still while putting the toothpick through its neck. Sure it bled out but the photo was worth it.
