The Pixar Theory (http://jonnegroni.com/2013/07/11/the-pixar-theory/)

Every Pixar movie is connected. I explain how, and possibly why. Several months ago, I watched a fun-filled video on Cracked.com that introduced the idea (at least to me) that all of the Pixar movies actually exist within the same universe. Since then, I’ve obsessed over this concept, working to complete what I call “The Pixar Theory,” a working narrative that ties all of the Pixar movies into one cohesive timeline with a main theme.

Wow! Long read, but very interesting. I'd love to hear an official comment from Pixar about this article.

I'd guess the good folks at Pixar are either having a good chuckle about how wrong this guy is or wetting themselves because their big secret is out.

I'm going with the former.

My Pixar Theory is that Joe Ranft was the genius behind Pixar and since he passed Pixar won't have the great stories it once had.

Nothing says "sound theory" like the opening salvo (Brave) being full of, "Yeah, I know this doesn't quite work, but if you squint and ignore all the parts that don't work...it totally works!"

OK.

A response (http://jalopnik.com/pixars-jay-ward-responds-to-the-unified-pixar-movie-th-822973346) from James Ward (http://pixar.wikia.com/Jay_Ward).

Thanks for finding that Moonliner.
It's as I expected, but I'm glad they've heard about it (and, I suspect/hope, got a good laugh out of it).

Although if you want to keep the conspiracy theory idea alive you could always argue that this guy is not senior enough to be in on the plan.

Also I can't understand how John Ratzenberger was not mentioned at all. If there is a sinister mater plan at Pixar how could he not be at the very core?

Dumb. But fun.
