Is it just me or does anyone else find 1901 underwhelming ?
Sure, they give you free olives, there's 3 cool digital projections of Walt Disney, Snow White, Mickey Mouse, they have smart phone chargers, free wifi and board games. Still there's something about 1901 that feels underwhelming. It's the same menu as Carthay Circle, and gets just as crowded.
Is 1901 really all that ?

I've been to 1901, neener neener neener
Would love to find out.
Haven't been in there when it is crowded, so maybe it's lame then.
But I just liked having access to comfortable, reasonably quiet, seating on a hot day.
So, without bringing food into the equation, it beats Club 33.

I have to admit I have almost no desire to go into 1901. I love the food and staff upstairs at the Carthay, and guests seem to truly enjoy their experience. The majority of people I see going in and out of 1901 seem to display an enormous amount of gtfout of my way.

I was completely unimpressed with the food at the Carthay Circle, so I won't cry at not being cool enough to get into 1901.
The libations, however, were great. So I'd love to meet someone for a drink at the Carthay Circle Bar before my AP expires in November!

Why? Do they have free olives?

Seattle? No, I don't think olives are free there.
