Give these three a try, be sure to "spoiler" your answers on the off chance that more than one person gives it a go.
1. A bat and a ball cost $1.10 in total. The bat costs $1.00 more than the ball. How much does the ball cost? ____cents
2. If it takes 5 machines 5 minutes to make 5 widgets, how long would it take 100 machines to make 100 widgets? _____minutes
3. In a lake, there is a patch of lily pads. Every day, the patch doubles in size. If it takes 48 days for the patch to cover the entire lake, how long would it take for the patch to cover half of the lake? _____days

1. ball=5 cents. bat=$1.05
2. PEDANTIC ANSEWR: Well, there's really not enough information to answer that. Do those 5 machines work independently? Is there enough power to run all 100 simultaneously? Are there any bottlencks in the supply chain to the machines? FACE VALUE ANSWER: 5 minutes
3. 47 days

It asked for the price of the ball not the bat but close enough.

That kind of sloppiness probably indicates that
He believes in some sort of goofy spirituality. Like feng shui or something

I got the answers correct; not going to bother posting and spoilering
Are the authors implying that religious people are unintelligent? No. The authors insist that they take no position on whether intuitive or analytical decision-making is the superior mode...I call BS on this: they ARE positing a relationship!

No, YOU are making the relationship that, "getting these questions right = intelligence". The data says, "people who get these questions right tend to be less religious." It does not make the claim that the questions represent an intelligence test.

Studies show that people who claim to have all the answers without posting and spoilering tend to be more religious because they expect people to take things on faith.

And they have a God complex to start with anyway.

Giving it a try:
Ball - 5c (ergo Bat = $1.05)
Machines - it will still take 5 mins.
The lake will be half full at 47 days.
Running off to see the answers now.
...and I just found out that I don't believe in god either.
