Has anyone seen it? I just got the soundtrack. It's hysterical. I love it. I must, must see this musical.

I've been following it's progress since I first heard it was going to be produced, and I couldn't be more thrilled by it's success. I would fly to NY just to see this!

I wish! I'm flying to NY on the 15th, but I doubt I can afford tickets. (Which reminds me, I need to buy my Avenue Q tickets...)

I want to see it, but hear tickets are hard to get. I may look into it sometime this summer.

Check out their site (http://www.montypythonsspamalot.com) - if you can go high bandwith, go for it, the Silly Bits are lots of fun. :D

I, too, have heard this. Hank Azaria was on Live with Regis and Kelly(well, today it was Jeff Probst:p and Kelly) and he said that it is impossible to get any tix right now. Those of you that are trying to get them, good luck!! And if you do get them, I'm jealous.

I bought the soundtrack when it came out and have had "this is the song that goes like this" stuck in my head ever since. I so wish I could go to NY and see it. Arg!

"
"Monty Python's Spamalot," an irreverent romp inspired by the British troupe's film, "Monty Python and the Holy Grail," took the prize for best musical, as well as for director Mike Nichols and featured actress Sara Ramirez, who portrays the divalike Lady in the Lake in the zany spoof.
"Now for something completely different, let's not thank Eric Idle, who was the genius behind this, and Monty Python," said Bill Haber, the show's producer.
Idle, ever the clown, slid through the crowd on stage and fell to the floor.
A somewhat flustered Nichols told the audience he had forgotten what he intended to say, but went on to thank "Spamalot" creator Idle, "from whom all blessings flow."
Okay, NA- now will you watch 'The Holy Grail'?
Seriously, these guys have given me so much joy over the years- it is so great to see their work validated like this.:snap::D:snap:

Very cool. But you guys have to check out the page...it's just funny seeing "Not Afraid" as a caption, capitalization and all. :)

I was not surprised about Ms. Ramirez's award. Just from listening to the soundtrack and seeing what little I have about her, she is hysterical. She reminds me of a young Madeline Kahn.
I'm glad Mike Nichols won. He's becoming one of my favorite directors (theatre/film) out there.
Now to see it. Will there ever be any tickets available?! :D

I'm so glad Sara Ramirez won. She's got one hell of a set of pipes.

It's going to tour! So far only Boston, Chicago, and DC dates have been announced. They'd better come to Seattle.
