Okay, so CoasterMatt, always the source of fine, though provoking material, pointed my wife to an interesting website. And while browsing through it myself, I found this (http://www.boners.com/grub/792180.html) image. I thought to myself, "Self, surely you are looking at a digitally altered image." So I did a quick search and found that, by God, there is a Shamokin, PA as well as a Pottsville, PA. Further more, by looking at Google maps I determined that there is indeed an exit that will bring you to either city by going in opposite directions. And while looking at this driving route between the two (http://maps.google.com/maps?spn=0.240723,0.454348&saddr=shamokin,+pa&daddr=pottsville,+pa&hl=en), I noticed (you may have to zoom in once to see it) that it takes you right through...Ashland!!

I don't know now, all I know is they seem pretty far apart. haven't mapped them out. But I do know the I-69 is much closer to Climax, MI then Intercourse, PA is.
