Hey, maybe we want to start a "wanted" and "for sale" forum. For instance,
"Hi, I'm a gay, sober, non-smoking,
small business owner, and I'm looking for a new
place by July 15. My roomates in Glassell Park are
moving to a much smaller house in Northridge. I do a
lot of theater (my business supports my free acting
habit,) and I sell my product in, at last count, 14
stores and 2 farmer's markets.
PM me if you know of something."
You know, should someone find themselves in such a situation.
We could call it, "I drove it off the LoT"

Several times I have thought that it would be interesting to have an area for members to post services they can provide (or perform) so that we could give each other some business from time to time. I've already passed on some consulting work to one member here.
Ps. Yes I know, "provide" and "perform" services can be taken as an entendre. No need to point it out...

Sorry, I don't have any leads on new digs for you.
However, I would like to know where I can purchase some of those cheese crackers that you make. Every time you mention them I begin to salivate, literally. One of my favorite foods is cheese....and I looooove cheddar.
Do you sell them online or by mail order? I live in the SF Bay Area, a little too far for a pleasant Saturday trip to a SoCal farmer's market. Although, I wish I could.

Cheese crackers? Ooh. Do tell.Do yourself a favor and don't get started on them (assuming you are asking Commodore Swank about his Thin Crisps).
They're like crack, except without the withdrawn look. Once you start, you will not be able to stop.
My name is Kevin and I am a Thin Crisp aholic

Gn2 - can ThinKrisps be ordered by mail? (no, he didn't ask me to ask that.) BTW, feel free to provide any advertising you like in your sig line. Locations, order by mail, what have you.
*looks at camera* I love ThinKrisps - they're crunchy music in my mouth! :D

Yes, I'm intrigued. How can I get my hands on some ThinKrack...erm, ThinKrisps? Darn it!! This thread is making me want to run over to Safeway for some cheez-its (which I'm sure are no where near the yummy factor of your crackers).
:)

You are f*cking hysterical! Best belly laugh I've had in days, thanks!
And, yes, in fact, ThinKrisps are winging their way to MerryPrankster as we speak. PM me for mailing info, what's in them, why, etc. I'm delivering some samples to a new store (for me) in Tustin tomorrow (thanks Kevy) and we have them in stores as far South as Aliso Viejo, and as far North as Van Nuys. Ha ha. If you're in the L and A area you can find me and my wares at the Larchmont Village Farmer's Market on Sundays, and Century City on Thursdays.
BTW, I'm still looking for a place to live. :D

BTW: was there ever a hypothetical resolution to the pondering mentioned in the OP?

Is them lo-carb bagels?
Hm. Thought not.
But, lox and cream cheese on an Original Cheddar is mighty tasty.

No lox for this vegetarian. Mmmm...cream cheese...
