HK Disneyland considers only cruelty-free shark fins (http://www.orlandosentinel.com/news/yahoo/orl-bk-sharksoup060805,0,2076523.story?coll=orl-newsaol-headlines)
Disney is now thinking of using only fins from suppliers who kill the shark and use the entire fish, Hong Kong's South China Morning Post newspaper reported Wednesday.
Hong Kong Disneyland spokeswoman Esther Wong declined to confirm the Post report, saying only that the company has "heard different opinions and comments" on the shark fin controversy, and takes the matter seriously.Wow, so they're still considering buying shark fins from people who slice fins off sharks and then put them back into the ocean to die? I, for one, and glad to hear that HK DL is standing their ground on this issue.
