Read some interesting info on this this morning......

Toru Iwatani, who worked for Namco, was inspired to create Pac-Man by looking at a pizza that was missing a slice.

He originally called it Puck-man, but that was changed for obvious reasons.

Billy Mitchell is the first and only known person to ever play a perfect game of Pac-man, scoring 3,333,360 pts and clearing all 256 levels. he accomplished this in 1999 and it took over 6 hours.

Happy Birthday, Pac-man.

Hmm, actually, the reason may not be so obvious to some. The reason is that in some asian languages there is no distinction between the "p" sound and the "f" sound. This would cause a slight problem in the American market.

Thank you, doctor, for adding sunlight where there once was darkness.
