We heard last night (at 9pm) that there was a new Tomorrowland Shag Shirt released. LE 500. So, Geeks that we are, we drove to DL to find one.

They're cool! The style is a retro bowling shirt, the color is an almost-Tomorrowland blue, the design is both screened and embroidered, the fabric is a TL-appropriate poly. $72.

I found a listing of one on sale at Ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=1379&item=6544985632&rd=1&tc=photo)already withpics.

It was available at WOD. We didn't even go into the park. :D

Lol!!! You do realise that the thread title contains the past-tense form of the word 's h i t , don't you? Makes the thread go in a whole different direction....;)

And here I thought it was another commentary on the "new" Tomorrowland.

I thought it was a reference to the brown paint job on Space Mountain that kind of made it look like a large pile of cat poop.

Cool! (Though nothing beats the purple Tiki Room shirt.)

Will there be more? Why won't they tell people about them?

Will there be more? Why won't they tell people about them?Limited Edition - no need to advertise. The whole Disney 'net knows instantly. As for more, probably not, the really nice Shag shirts are always LE.

I think she means more as in other shirts. I suspect there will eventually be one for each of the orignal 5 lands.

Hmm... I'm not nuts about it. I mean, it's nice, but nothing on the scale of the previous shirt.

I think she means more as in other shirts. Indeed.

Of course the whole Disney 'net knows as soon as something comes out--BUT, that's only useful information for those of you close enough to drive over, see the thing, and decide if you want it--all in time to purchase.

I LOVE the 50th merch brochure. I wish they'd send more (with pictures and prices and release dates). Takes a bit more planning for someone in my area to get this stuff--we can't just buy play it by ear, unfortunately. (Good for the pocketbook, bad for getting some things.) Then again, I tend to get lucky; I do have a signed Shag picture in my living room.

I'm kindof "eh" on this shirt. It's cute, but for $72, I'd expect more.

And yeah, all that stuff about women's shirts.

Dang. I wanted one from each land, but I really don't like this one compared to my Adventureland one. :(

Saw that yesterday when I was at the Park. I wasn't too wow'd only because it sort of reminded me of the old costumes from back in the day. But hey, it's not all about me.

Rarely of course.

That's a cool shirt. I think that The Lounge of Tomorrow should create a bowling team and use that shirt as their uniform.

While I do like the shirt, I wish he would have made a tropical shirt with Atoms and tomorrowland logos and Icons on it. I think that would have been even better, but I'm kind of partial to tropical shirts.

It's definitely damn close to our vision of the perfect LoT bowling shirt. Making those shirts can be really damn pricey though.

I bought Chris a shirt today that he's gonna wear on Friday that is such a great LoT shirt. HTH, you'd like it.

Sadly, I can't find a picture of it.

Here's one similaar, but it is the blue of the bottom pic.

Both of those are great shirts. Very 60's and very swanky. Chris is a lucky man.
