Actually, it's not a bad idea. Send my dad and some of his friends to tell long, rambling and pointless stories to the insurgents. Couple hours of storytelling and they'll lose the will to fight.
I say raise the age limit to 60. If Bush enlists, I'll enlist -- and that's a promise. I'll proudly follow him into battle. I'll even call him sir. And mean it.
I'm such an asshole. Praise Allah!

Other than in a paranoid mind set- how in the hell does raising the recruiting age mean they are "gunning" for you?
This is easy- don't enlist.
Good god- is everyone out to "get" you and yours?

My post was (mostly) in jest.
I'll proudly follow him into battle. I'll even call him sir.
See what I mean? Jest.
Good god- is everyone out to "get" you and yours?
Maybe. My paranoia has helped me survive eight assassination attempts.
Maybe. My paranoia has helped me survive eight assassination attempts. Umm, yeah, but were they trying to assasinate you, I know I have survived one or two assasination attempts myself, I know one of them was the attempt on reagan. :p

Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you.

Don't go bursting my paranoid bubble.
Hey, now that you mention it, one time the guy yelled "You ruined the Beatles, bitch!" right before his gun mis-fired. I thought he was talking to me but now I wonder. You've given me a lot to think about, my friend.

I just heard a story on the radio last night about a group of grannies in Arizona or New Mexico who want to enlist and go over to Iraq, in part so the young kids can come home and in part because they think they can stop the war. :) They want to be ambassadors.
Their local recruiter ignored them. Long live the Raging Grannies!!! (their name for themselves)
