More people to deal with this punishing workload. I'm becoming no fun at all, it's obvious I need to do two things, leave this purgatory and consume more spirits. Better yet, leave this place so I can return to being me.
My hips are plenty wide, but I think a hip flask is in order.
End of rant!

I know the feeling. It's a good thing I like my coworkers and like my work...because I've been spending a lot of time with both lately. I know it's all for the best and I'm scoring a lot of brownie points here, but it's really draining to stay late every single night.

I like my co-workers too, but I am way beyond Brownie points!
Anyway, I'll toast you and know that things will improve!

...leave this purgatory and consume more spirits....
I was just thinking that I would rather live in a cubicle at the library than put up with this crap any more. Then I went to heat up my lunch and the daily paper had an article on the resurgence of traditional cocktails. And then I was thinking that I badly need one. And then I read this thread.
I really really need a cocktail. And to only have to do my own job. And do be able to do my own job while enjoying a cocktail.

Ah, sometimes the planets do align correctly. My appearance at my Wednesday pool league was in jeopardy because we've been having daily 5:00 meetings. Today the meeting magically got pushed up to 4:00. Hooray!
