Well, this is a MUST SEE. It's the last of the season and we'll be there. Anyone joining us?

CINESPIA Presents:

THE SHINING

Directed by Stanley Kubrick
Saturday, September 24th
NEW TIME: GATES AT 6:30 PM FILM AT 8PM
Hollywood Forever Cemetery
6000 Santa Monica Blvd. at Gower
$10 Donation tickets available at gate

Undoubtedly the scariest film ever made, The Shining is nothing less than perfect. With sublime direction from Kubrick and unsurpassed performances by Jack Nicholson, Shelley Duvall and seven year old Danny Lloyd, it is at once terrifying and entertaining. A caretaker and his family are snowed in at the Overlook Hotel, and discover that it is haunted by spirits who have a sinister plan for them. Please bring blankets, picnic dinner and cocktails for this special screening below (and above) the stars.
DJ Jun spins before and after the screening.

Stupid earth and its stupid tilted axis. Now that they've pushed the start time so early, and with Jen once again working until 6, there's no way we can get up there in time.

I'll still be dealing with all the stupid fanboys at the Serenity fanfest - maybe if I show up with an axe?

One of my freinds from work will be going, and she'll likely be bringing some of her friends. Looks like it will be a fun night in the cemetary.
