Not technically fired, but the Dodgers declined to give him a contract extension so he's not going to serve the final year of his contract.

I hate the McCourts so much.

"I know, let's fire the only manager to get us to the playoffs in a decade, the only playoff win in almost 2, and who kept a piss-poor team in a division race despite losing almost his entire starting roster to injury. Let's KEEP the moron who got rid of the most popular player, jeopardized our first shot at the playoffs in a decade by getting rid of key players, and dismantled a playoff team to end up with a team that lost 91 games."
This is considered good business?

I'm disgusted. Tracy was awesome. You can tell the players respected him. He put together one of the best coaching staffs in the league. The Dodgers' problems this year were NOT his fault. This is just so wong.

The Pirates picked up Jim Tracy - I hope he gets together a good team and gets a championship (or 2 or 3)
