Okay, I thought the truck things were beyond silly and a reflection of the drivers that had them on their cars, but now dogs?

Well, at least this guy is laughing all the way to the bank.

:D My boy cat, Dancer, would be highly offended! He's quite comfortable with his cat-man-hood!

Yes, I think all my boys would not be happy. Scoundrel would chew them off then get one lodged in his stomach. They'd become $1500 testicles and I'd never live down the fact that the vet had to remove a testicle from my cat's stomach.

Scoundrel, fantastic name! I'll bet he is, too! :)

Oh yes! He named homself. I was running amok when we first brought him home. He was unstoppable trouble. He ran past me on the second day with God only knows what in his mouth and I said "You are such a little scoundrel, aren't you?".....and Chris said "I think you just gave him a name". He's lived up to it in spades.
Buster, who we got at the same time, was harder to name. His name was Little Uncle Goblin for a time. Yeah, I know.

Hey, I will never comment one way or the other. Mine were originally named Dottie and Keeper by the friend I got them from. I said, this will NOT do. So I named the black and white Tango, tne gray and white, well Dottie was okay, not great, but I was willing to live with it. That is, until we went to the vet for the first time and discovered the mello kitty was the boy and the wild kitty was the girl. So Tango remained Tango and Dottie was quickly renamed Dancer.
Buster for Keaton, perhaps?
I will now shut up about my cats.

Yes, boy cats are the laid back mellow ones - and usually more affectionate - while girls are the high-strung ones. It's a common misconception that it is the other way around.
Buster Poindexter, Buster Keaton, Buster Brown, so many good busters. And, he's such a boy. And, he likes to fly.
I can't shut up about my cats.

Cats! Cats! Boris was named because he was, at birth, the runt of the litter and had broken stub of a tail to show for it -- but he nonetheless was the instigator of the various litter rumbling matches. He was like a crappy little Russian boxer with scars -- only he grew up to be a giant of a cat with enormously long legs. Master jumper. Smartest cat I've ever met. Complete mama's boy, though. We call him the dogcat because he acts more like a dog -- loyal, comes when called, plops down for belly rubs, etc...
Sasha is a little slut kitty. She sashays in front of you, waving her big fluffy tail, looking back over her shoulder at you, waiting for you to notice her and tell her how pretty she is. She is not the brightest bulb in the box, but she's all cat. Very territorial. Submissive to Boris, but will NOT tolerate other cats in her view! She is our low-rider with little stubby legs. Not such a good jumper, and frequently gets excited and falls off furniture. Oooh! Last weekend she was on top of the piano watching a bug and she lept off the piano, into empty space, without a plan for landing and without a prayer of jumping high enough to catch the bug. just pointlessly flung herself into space and didn't even land on her feet. That's our Sashapants!

While we're talking names - I only have 3 more to go...... ;)
Dexter (or Pookie) is named after C. K. Dexter Haven. Pookie comes from when he was a kitten and had poop stuck to his foot. I called him poopiekitty and it became Pookie. He knows the name "Pookie" and responds to it. It also sounds a lot like his favorite treat - Turkey, which he also responds too.
Lyra was named by Matterhorn Fan (she is really her cat - and don't let her tell you otherwise). Her name comes from the main character in the "His Dark Materials" trilogy. She's like Lyra because she is a traveler and an adventerer - or she was. Now she's a lazy-ass fat cat.
And Jack was named Jack Rabbit by his former owners. I used to call him Pumpkin because he was big and round, but he's bratty and Chris thought Pumpkin was too cute of a name. So, now his full name is Captain Jack Sparrow Skelleton the Pumpkin King. His nickname is B.O.B. which stands for Big Orange Boy.
That's it. I ONLY have 5 cats. No more.
