Well, in a scant few hours, my children and I will be heading to the happiest place on earth.
If you happen to see a man in levis shorts wearing old K-swiss shoes with three kids of 11, 6, and 4 in tow, please be sure to say hello.

Going on a weekday, sneaky.
Going on a weekday where I work until 9pm, sneakier.
Going on a weekday where Lost is on - sneakiest!
Have a blast

I think he doesn't want to admit to his family that he actually enjoys the virtual company of liberal whackjobs.

My family and I had much fun, thank you. It did suck that iot was hotter in Anaheim on Th and Fr than it was in Phoenix, but Sa and SU were very nice.
Oh, now, ya'll had mouseadventure and all that crap going on. I had mentioned I was going to be there and only one person suggested meeting, and that didn't work out. So there.

So where you there to see all of us rushing about? Just curious.

Interestingly, on Saturday I saw no one. On Sunday I saw people ALL over, particularly on Main Street, at all times of the day. At least I would assume the groups of people with numbers on their sleeves were participants.
In retrospect, I wish I would have found out when and where the big group picture was going to be taken. I would have dropped by and tried to say hi to those I know from this board.

what?!?! Every other breathing person on Main street was stopping to ask us what we were doing...
you could have stopped someone and said "Hey, what time are turning in your stuff, and where?" ;)
Sorry we missed you, but glad you got a giggle out of seeing us run around.

I have often wondered which would be more difficult - coming from a conservative religious family and coming out as gay, or coming from a conservative religious family and admitting I converse with liberals....and that I even like them.
Motorboat Cruiser

You can just tell them that you converse with gay liberals and let them fill in the rest. :)
They probably aren't ready to hear about the toaster though.

OMG! Did you just out yourself? You know, several of us here on the board will be happy to help you through the difficult task of "the talk," which you'll need to have with your wife and children.
(MBC, the toaster-oven goes to the GLBTgP who facilitates the outing, not the outed party themselves. I'm claiming this one, I need two more toaster-ovens to qualify for the blender)

I used that wording intentionally to see how long it would take for just such a posting. 35 minutes. Longer than I thought it would. :)

The reason you didn't see us on Saturday is because it was under cover of darkness. Game started at 7ish and ended at 10:45pm. You were probably watching fireworks/Fantasmic/parade for a chunk of that time.
I so wish you would have bumped into us, that would have been a nice moment....and I do mean "moment" as we'd say hi, shake hands, and then zip away to the next quest ;)

So your fifth place finish would be more important than saying hi to me????

Yes, and their 5th place doesn't even really count in the big scheme of things.
Well, I'm sure you know what most of us look like. Chris and I (with one "son") were running about in all black wearing black berets. Add in the clipboards and we really looked like important techies, secret service or, perhaps, French Military.
We missed any photo ops (group and team) so you won't see us anywhere except the one photo Crazy Legs took.

ISM's easy to humiliate! We've beaten them several times so far.
Note to ISM: You'd better get your act together old man - especially if there is trivia involved.
I don't know what ground I'm standing on here. I have no clue how we did this time but I don't think we did fabu at all. We were too relaxed.

Yes, but I think they were talking about mouseadventure, dear. What goes on in your bedroom between Yourself, First/Third Husband, Your Son, and His Lover is not something we generally discuss on the LoT.

Well bugger scaealges....if you saw the really tall guy and the really short blonde girl with the matching Mickey Mouse Club shirts on, that was me and the DH without the kids. Oh well...there is always next MA, for a nice trip to Anaheim!

Yes, I call SHENANIGANS! You said you were going mid-week (which is a crowd-avoidance maneuver) and made no mention of being there over the crowded weekend to follow. Since we all had mouseadventure going on, it meant that A TON OF US WOULD BE AT THE PARK - - - there is simply no way we would not have made arrangements to meet you. We weren't playing ALL the time; for instance, there was a pre-mouseadventure dinner Saturday evening at The Jazz Kitchen that would have been a perfect opportunity to meet and chat with you and your family.
You purposefully avoided us, and there's no two ways about it. Bad, bad scaeagles. Cowardly bad scaeagles!

:p Pee-shaw, says I! And the evidence shall thus follow -
In this thread, about the upcoming MA, in post number 5, I posted the following a full two months ahead of my trip:
"My family and I will actually be there that weekend. I'll have to keep an eye out for people running around in the event."
http://www.loungeoftomorrow.com/LoT/showthread.php?t=1828&page=1&pp=30
So, Mr. Hoity-toity high-and-mighty lawyer, I DID in fact mention I would be there the weekend of MA. Did anyone say they wanted to meet me? NO! And I cried and cried about it, but not being one who wishes to make myself the center of attention, I dropped it. All of you liberals are obviously far too elitist to extend an invitation, and hurt it did. I am FAR too humble a man to say "I'll be there - I know you all want to come and meet me!".
So.....bad, am I? Cowardly, am I?

Funny I missed you on Main St you were headed the opposite direction....go figure.
Thanks on the shirt nod, it's the first year I finally got something beyond regular clothes to wear, now the DH says it is our required uniform. We are not overly creative people. One day we might actually figure out a team name!
I did stop and say hi to them Happy Haunts people.....which I neglected to do at previous MAs out of shyness. Progress I tell ya. I would have said "hi" to NA and crew, but she was moving to quick for me.
