Yup. Some days at work all you can do is

How about we plan things so far ahead of time that it's impossible to know whether the plans will fit or not. Then we can change the plans continuously up until the moment the plans are supposed to start happening. Once we are finally carrying out the plans, we can start planning the next move too far in advance.

Maybe we should meet tomorrow to discusss what we will be discussing at the meeting on Friday. We can always meet again on Thursday if we have more to discuss...or just leave me a text message.

Obviously all of this discoarse as to when we are going to have a meeting is bacause of a basic morale issue with all involved parties. The only answer I can see to this problem is to have team building day. So when are we going to have the meeting to plan the team building day, in order to releive the stress that has been caused over the question of when we should have a meeting?

HAHAHAHA!!! BTD!! You would have gotten a text from bored me in the middle of a meeting this morning, but I didn't have service.
And I almost forgot about it.... My boss called me at 8:45 (I was supposed to be there at 9 and I was still in my pyjamas) and said, you are coming, right? Uh sure, I'll right there!
And in thirty minutes I'll be at another meeting.
And last night, I was at a meeting.
The good news is a lot of these meetings include meals....mmm, I haven't paid for a meal since lunch yesterday....and hopefully dinner may be included in this next meeting. ;)

Can we have the meeting after the diversity workshop in which we learn how not to offend clowns?

I wasn't kidding with my OP. We have a massive project that is supposed to roll out on Thursday. And we've been having meetings to schedule meetings about the meetings we are going to have meetings for!.. Today we needed to have a meeting but everyone else was in a meeting to plan a meeting.
OY, tomorrow is going to be a loooong day.
And we don't get food in our meetings :(

And we don't get food in our meetings :(
We usually have hospitality...bagels, coffee, whatever. But the past 4 meetings I was at have included a meal. Not to mention retreats & classes I've been to in the past week or so that have included food. I've been very well fed. But remember I work a lot of hours for a little money. Food is the least they can do.

ALL of this thread is very amusing ... but too true! Last week, each department at my workplace had mini-meetings to decide on a day and time for the entire-office meeting that was held today. At the end of the big meeting, we were divided into smaller groups to schedule and conduct more mini-meetings next week, before everyone reports back at the all-staff meeting in two weeks! :p

Humm.. Maybe my office got wind of my posts... The rest of the meetings this week were productive! There were no meetings to plan meetings to plan the meetings. Unless those were the meetings last week. On Monday we are having a big meeting with the execs and I am sure there will be a meeting to plan the meeting.
YAY meetings!
