So, last week when I was at Disneyworld, I was able to go to Downtown Disney for the first time (WOW! Way better than our lousy one). When I was there, I was able to grab a quick lunch at Earl of Sandwich. I ordered the Cannonballs, expecting it to just be like an average meatball sub from Subway. All I can say, however, is WOW! It was seriously the best sandwich I have ever eaten in my life!
So, next time anyone is at WDW, be sure to at least try one of their meals. Very affordable compared to most food out there, and had ample seating for all.

One of the best meal deals on property--and the cheapest Coke on property. I wish they had more than one vegetarian sandwich.
I know someone who ate there at least three times on his last trip.
I often wander in and then change my mind; unfortunately, it's often very busy.
I recommend it, too. It's way better than Puck's Express (though it's probably not better than Puck's table-service place at West Side--mmmmmm...pumpkin ravioli...).

I recommend it, too. It was the last meal I ate in Orlando, actually. I had (pre-vegetarian, mind you) the ham and brie, and it was succulent. I was shocked how reasonable their prices were, and I was really, really hoping that the Earl would allow a franchise of his restaurant on the *real* west side Downtown Disney so that I could eat there more frequently!

I guess this is where we're eating when we're there later this month (!) when at DTD. Are the sizes fairly decent, so if you wanted to split a sandwich for a lighter meal, you'd be ok?

The sandwiches are decent size, I think, but it would depend upon your definition of a "light meal" as to whether you could share or not.

Thanks, Matterhorn Fan. Sounds like it'll depend on how late we're eating lunch if we split one (busy day, that day --- Yuletide tour in the morning and progressive dinner in the evening - Wilderness Lodge lounge, Narcoossee's and California Grill!)

It's probably about a 8 inch sub. I ate the whole thing, but thats just because I'm a big eater. My teacher and her husband shared a sub and a salad, and they both seemed satisfied.

I usually eat the whole sandwich (or most of it), but I'm vegetarian, and the only sandwich on the menu I can eat is the caprese--it's just mozarella, tomatoes, and basil, so there's not much to it (but SO yummy). They also serve salads and chips and stuff, so Drince, with that big dinner in the evening, you'll probably do just fine to share brunch/lunch at EOS.
Darnit, now I want a caprese.
Maybe for dinner . . .
