My future sister in law told me about these but I didn't quite believe her til I saw it yesterday. It seems that Elvis Presley's image has been in hidden in at least 2 attractions @ Disneyland this Christmas season. So far The King has been spotted inside The Haunted Mansion and It's A Small World. I didn't see him inside HM but I DID see him inside IASW and got this photo to prove it:

Anyone know why Elvis is appearing in DL this Christmas season ?

BTW: The photo inside It's A Small World is located in the big tree to your right hand side in England, just before Scotland, about half way up.

OMG, it's even more UNBELIEVABLY creepy in person. Purportedly, the Small World Elvis was lit up at first, but later plunged into darkness. If you dare look back after passing that tree and spy his BlueChristmas-toned visage peering out at you ... you will be creeped out for the rest of your journey thru Small World Holiday.
Over at Haunted Mansion Holiday, the King is lurking behind the piano in the attic ... and again, you must glance backwards - away from the ride vehicle travel direction - to spot him. Ironically, he's less creepy in the Haunted Mansion (his attic bust is a bit more comical than the face in the Small World tree), but his presence is just as puzzling.
What is Up!?!?!

This little monkey is located just below the mouth of the snake monster inside the attic in Haunted Mansion. The monkey bride has a flashing heartbeat just like the ghost bride.

k, the Monkey Bride sent me into paroxisms of laughter.
Well, mostly it was the one-two punch of hidden Elvis on one side, and freaky Monkey Bride on the other. Discovering them both in quick succession was one of my Disneyland highlights of the year!

That would be Michael J. Fox :D
As for the Monkey Bride, my Monkey Bride squealed with delight when she spotted her.

Mansion Elvis was still there as of Sunday night. I cannot confirm the whereabouts of Small World Elvis.

Don't know if it was Elvis' last set, but we were there for a couple songs. We left when "Blue Christmas" started.
The Mansion one is way big, but you really have to look backwards to see it. An Imagineer must've tipped people off.

I saw the HM's hidden items on Saturday. The Monkey Bride is awsome! Soooo cool.
The elvis is a picture in a frame. It is medium sized - not a full portrait sized, but still obvious if you know where to look.

i am very bummed having missed everyone...it's so rare i get to the Park these days...but to think we were actually in the same vicinity at the same time makes me say "Doh!"
i was probably just one cigarette break behind everyone all night!

Okay,
Here is Elvis inside The Haunted Mansion:

This one seemed odd for two reasons. First, it's 'old Elvis'. The portrait inside It's A Small World features 'young Elvis'. The other oddity was the tears. Why is he crying ? I don't know the reason but I don't think a weeping Elvis is a sign from God, no matter what €uromeinke says ;)
Just when we thought things couldn't get wierder, we saw a performer that night at Tomorrowland Terrace known as 'Scot Bruce - A Tribute To Elvis' !

The King lives (at Disneyland) !

As an aside, I remember seeing him perform a few months ago and, while I generally loathe Elvis impersonators, I thought he was pretty damn good.
Now, back on topic...
The pics on HM and IASW do look pretty creepy. I wonder who is behind this very odd tribute(?).
