Happy New Year to everyone!

What are your plans? I am going to stay home, as I have a horrid cold and am a snot factory at the moment. I do plan to have a few Tequila Slammers, purely for medicinal purposes, of course.;) We are having a steak and King Crab dinner- which will be totally wasted on me- and then Tori is plotting a game-a-thon. Now that I think about it, this is virtually a repeat of last year, including the cold.

Happy New Year!

I have two parties tonight (I feel so popular) so I'll catch one early and one late. I just hope the rain lets up a tiny bit. Drowned rat isn't an attractive look for me.

Since I thought it was NYE last night (long story) and it was pretty good, I'm gonna do it again. Bokbunjajoon and Korean food, and Jimmy got a hug and kiss on the cheek as I was on my way out the door at midnight.
I'm making black-eyed peas with salt pork, but not greens as it's just me, and gonna bake biscuits as well and bring them to his place. Being Korean, he's never had black-eyed peas. Spread a warm biscuit with salt pork and that's heaven.

Happy New Year to everyone at LoT! I'll be on my way to one of the Wettest Places on Earth! Rain or shine, with or without fireworks, I'll be at the Disneyland Resort the next few days. Best wishes to everyone for a swanky 2006! :)

As usual, sweetiedarlings, the Commodore will be lashed to the helm of the S.S. Tootseidon. Shelley Winters and I will be comparing our swim meet medals and, later on, participating in the "There's Got To Be a Morning After" karaoke marathon.

Perhaps I'll slip away for a bit, I hear there's a swanky party being thrown by some of you landlubbers. TOOT-TOOT!

I am almost reluctant to post here...I rarely post and when I do it is on New Years Eve? Only goes to show I have no life....the only time I have available to post is on the biggest party night of the year.

Anywho...Happy New Year to everyone!!!

Home has been my base all day. I've run errands, cleaned house, etc. Picked up Chinese for dinner and my wonderful neighbor brought over some fantastic tamales and refried beans. Umm umm.:snap:

I felt sooo naughty. I went to Sav-On and bought a bottle of {should I even say?} Martinelli's Sparkling Cider. The clerk put it in a brown bag and I felt so grown up. :D

I bought a 'party in a box' for midnight. Everyone had to work today so I hope everyone will be here and awake then. I saved the fortune cookies for midnight. Wow, the excitement is overwhelming. LOL

But really, I love all of it. I hope everyone who does go out and celebrate has a designated driver and a safe ride home. I want to see everyone here the next time I come by. :)

Oh, yeah- we have a new rig for the new year:

We bought it last night- it's the same make and color as the one pictured. My sis has one and we really liked it, so we decided to bite the bullet and get one.

Happy 2006! I watched Dick Clark tonight. All I can say is that it's great seeing him back on the show, but it's kinda hard to watch. That and Mariah Carey looked HUGE! Oy.

Happy '06, GC! Still '05 here, for another two hours. My stupid cold is hitting me full force but I have managed to down a few slammers in spite of it.:D

Made what I think was a fabulous dinner- T-bone steaks, salad, Alaskan King Crab legs and garlic bread- couldn't taste a damned thing. Looks like I may have an early start on my annual New Year's diet.

Here's to a great 2006, though!

Already been 2006 for a couple of hours here in Orlando. I was on a rooftop in Epcot at the stroke of midnight, watching the fireworks from a not at all authorized spot. From my vantage point, I could see the Epcot, Disney-MGM Studios, Pleasure Island and (just barely) Magic Kingdom fireworks all at once. Pretty cool.

So far, 2006 is just fine, thank you.

I had a nice low key New Years. My Saturday Night Girls and I had dinner out. We then went back home and played board games until 11:45 PM.

GC... Mariah Carey sported some BIIIIIIG breasts inside that dress! She kept pulling her jacket open to make sure that they were seen!!

WB, congrats on the new ride! New Year = New Car! :) It's gorgeous!

We had a fun time at Disneyland yesterday - it started raining about 11am; quite a few people cleared out. We were so soaked, and the crowds weren't too insane, so we decided to go someplace else for dinner (but first, another stop at Build-A-Bear)- just up the road to Spaghetti Factory. It stopped raining while we were there, had a lovely dinner in a pretty quiet restaurant, then headed back to Disneyland for lots of fun. The park did a great job with the hats and horns this year; we saw quite a few CMs (including managers) pulling them out of planters and generally keeping things quite a bit cleaner than previous NYEs. The sky cleared up enough for the evening fireworks, and the big countdown fireworks were AWESOME - lots of shells, lots of noise - It was like a great big "F U!" to those stupid whiny neighbors. We stuck around and got our traditional "First rollercoaster of the new year" rides on Matterhorn, and another ride on Small World Holiday. We ambled down Main Street, and I got a pic of the clock on the Main St. Station at 2 am - once the closing spiel played, it was time to head back to home.

Hope everybody has a wonderful New Year :D

Happy New Year Swanky Folk!!

Hope 2006 is a great year....

I spent NYE at DL with some great friends and rang in the new year near the castle at Triton's Garden. The fireworks were fantastic and was a joy to be at the Happiest Place on Earth to start off the new year right. First ride of the New Year (as tradition inspires) was Dumbo.

Happy New Year!!

Happy New Year everyone!!!!!

I'm awake. I'm really awake. Honest.

I'm still in my PJs and I don't think I'll ever wear anything else. That's my resolution. ;)

I'm glad I'm not at the Rose Parade. I'm just glad I'm inside at the moment. It's a Blustery Day.

She should name one 'King' and the other 'Kong'. Zoinks! :D
