This is going to sound a little cryptic, but here goes anyway...

I'm working for a temp agency now and my current job is going to be ending soon. In the meantime, I've been looking for permanent jobs. There is one that would just be the perfect fit. I should be hearing from them soon.

I need good vibes, karma etc that I get an interview. I do well in the interview process but getting one is pretty hard here in Boston.

After the outcome, I'll tell you what the job is.

The woman in the temp office talked about finding a job that was true to me. At this moment in time, this one is.

Think good thoughts for me will ya?

Feel the flow from my brain to the netherworld of the karma-giving overlords of the interview.

My vibes were having a bit of trouble clearing the Rockies, but that seems to have worked itself out now. Should be hitting you any moment now.

Fingers and toesies crossed, and am walking around reciting a mantra of positive-vibinessness. Am getting some odd looks, but that's nothing new.

(Seriously, bestest of luck!!!)

Positive vibes have been transmitted from Eric and Matthew. iSm's vibes created a bit of a traffic jam and ours were forced to pull over for a bite to eat. They are now back on course and headed your way.

So, the Vibes from me and the 6 fuzzies have all been sent. I'm in a good vibe sort of mood tonight so expect them to work wonders.

I can feel it! Thank you for the good vibes, everyone!

I think there was so much vibing going on yesterday that we short circuited LoT! :D

ML ~ I'd love to be an A&F floor model, just so I can stand next to those albinos and stand out with my black hair! :D

DF25863 ~ Is that 'recruit' or 'recuse'? :D

KB ~ I don't know what those pictures are all I see is XXX (which I'm sure is a clue of what was there...). :D

NA ~ Thank you for the kitty vibes. But for some reason, I have the urge to chase mice now... :D

I have such a good feeling about this one, y'all...

Well, alas and alack, I did not get the position.

They just shot me an email this morning. 'Thank you, but..."

Bleh.

I'm not as bummed as I thought I was going to be. I'm still optimistic.

The job was working in the Development Department of a marriage equality group here in Boston.

Oh well. On to the next application...

But, heck, I do appreciate all the support.

So sorry to hear the news, GC. It sounds like it would have been an interesting job.

Sending positive vibes that something better will come along.

...in Los Angeles.
I figured I'd be hearing that from either you or Isaac. :D

And, I tell ya, when it was 10 degrees here the other day, I was thinking about L.A.. But I was thinking about Hawai'i a lot!

The thing is is that I like Boston a great deal. It's really fun here. They're lacking in the theme park/controlled environment dept but I love big cities.

One of the consolations of not getting this job is that I may be joining Ralphie in Orlando during one of his meetings in March. I hear Disney has a couple of theme parks there...

Speaking of Boston, my dad just sent me this:

---------------------

Two boys in Boston were playing baseball when one of them was attacked by a rabid Rottweiler. Thinking quickly, the other boy ripped a board off of a nearby fence, wedged it into the dog's collar and twisted it, breaking the dog's neck.
A newspaper reporter from the Boston Herald witnessed the incident and rushed over to interview the boy. The reporter began entering data into his laptop, beginning with the headline:

Brave Young Red Sox Fan Saves Friend From Jaws Of Vicious Animal

"But I'm not a Red Sox fan," the little hero interjected.

"Sorry" replied the reporter. "But since we're in Boston, Mass, I just assumed you were." Hitting the delete key, the reporter began:

John Kerry Fan Rescues Friend From Horrific Dog Attack

"But I'm not a Kerry fan either," the boy responds.

The reporter says, "I assumed everybody in this state was either for the Red Sox or Kerry or Kennedy. What team or person do you like?

"I'm a Texas Ranger fan and I really like George W. Bush" the boy says.

Hitting the delete key, the reporter begins again:

Arrogant Little Conservative Bastard Kills Beloved Family Pet
----------------------
:D I like it.

That's okay. Their loss. I'm a really hard worker. :)

Just disregard that I'm posting this at work...
