I second that!
How cool that Imelda Staunton will be he hideous Dolores Umbridge!

Of course, I'm anxious for 2006 to pass so book 7 is finsihed and in editing stages for 2007 publication.

Yee-haw. I'm glad it's the same cast.

Imelda Staunton is a swell choice. I quite like her, too-- have you guys seen her in Vera Drake? She was lovely. It was not a great film, but a very very good one, at least.

I'm a little uncomfortable about the director coming from mostly TV-- but then, JJ Abrams is directing MI:3, and I doubt the MI:3 fans are complaining. But then, MI:3 fans can't compare in number or obession to the Potterites.

I thought 'Vera Drake' was a great film. Her ability to go from a madwoman like she was in 'Sense and Sensibility' to a calm housewife in 'Vera Drake' makes me worship her. I think she'll be an evil, evil Umbridge.

(I'm hoping Dawn French comes back as the Fat Lady portrait also, although I don't remember that character being used that often in the later books...)

Loved the girl in "About a Boy," so yay!

The little picture of Luna looks like she's Draco's twin sister. Hopefully, she doesn't actually look like that. Heh.

Other additions to the cast include George Harris ("The Interpreter") as Kingsley Shacklebolt, Helen McCrory ("Casanova") as Bellatrix Lestrange, Natalia Tena ("Mrs. Henderson Presents") as Nymphadora Tonks and Kathryn Hunter ("All or Nothing") as Mrs. Figg.
Newcomer Evanna Lynch beat more than 15,000 hopefuls at an open casting call to win the role of Luna Lovegood, a Ravenclaw student who becomes an important ally to Harry Potter.
