The Scene
Coverville is my favorite non-Mousepod podcast. Host Brian Ibbott has been casting about thrice weekly since October of 2004, and he's an excellent host of a show that never ceases to bring interesting and creative choices of cover songs to the internet, generally three times a week (Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday.)

The joy of podcasting, though, is that you don't have to tune in to enjoy it-- you can download it and listen to it at your leisure. I don't have an iPod but I burn mine to MP3 CDs and listen via my MP3 CD player.

A great example of the show is #139, which right off the bat offers a really amusing and well-recorded non-rap "Baby Got Back" by Jonathan Coulton.

And, as Disney fans, you all might enjoy #82, the Disney Cover Story.

My favorite episode, though, was #125, which I loved start to finish. A brilliant They Might Be Giants cover, a very interesting "Take On Me" and some other gems worth listening to.

I was never that fond of covers until I heard what Coverville offered. Check it out on coverville.com or subscribe to the podcast via iTunes.
